Mr Whiskers is the bottom-feeder of the Brook, the trouble-maker. He is the embodiment
of the world, seeking riches, pleasure and whatever else he can get. He is Ripley’s
nemesis. He shows us what we should not be.
This Catfish seeks every opportunity to do the work of distraction. He always has some
scheme. He has put his faith in things.
We still believe that he can be saved, so we share the gospel with him at every opportunity.
Come by and see Mr. Whiskers and tell him there is a better way, and maybe even say a
prayer for him.
