February 2009

Easter at
Richard Rollins Park in Grand Terrace was a
tremendous success as the community turned out to
hear the Word of God.
Pastor
Rick Doucette gave an anointed message and many
lives were changed as people came forward and gave
their lives to Christ.
Stellar Kart
woke up the neighborhood to the goodness and mercies
of God. It was truly a new experience for many
- including Stellar Kart, who's lead singer confided
that he rarely rises before noon. And yet their
music lit up the hillsides of Grand Terrace as the
sun rose over the mountains behind us.
Ripples
entertained the children after services on the field
as they came and asked Jesus questions and were
rewarded with a piece of candy for their boldness
(all right, we gave them candy even if they didn't
have a question.)

We
introduced the kids also to our newest puppet Bitsy
Bunnington. She, along with our newest puppeteer
Airaka, were an instant hit. I think the children
will be seeing Bitsy very soon.
The day
was over too quickly and we can't wait for next
Easter!
Congratulations
to Christina B. for winning the science kit in our
Easter raffle! We will be having monthly raffles to
raise money for the trailer we so desperately need.
Stop on by the tables in the morning at church on
Sundays to see what we are raffling off this month.
I believe the next raffle is for a nearly-new Schwin
scooter! Raffle tickets are 50 cents each or 5 for 2
dollars.
Thank
you to all who came and supported Ripples.
